At least there's control in the bowling now. Constricting the run rate is first step in stopping them winning, with our batting at present we're only ever going to win low scoring matches
 

Smith half century.

Batted like Boycott for the most of this innings but as the sun's out the batting's got easier he's beginning to purr now and he's scoring more freely. Suprised if he doesn't get a century from here.
 
Game is heading for a draw now i think. Smith is just holding this Aussie line-up together. He now stops us running through them as we have sometimes done at home in previous tours.

If they’re still batting at tea with a few wickets to spare I can see us batting for our lives again.
I can see us collapsing without difficulty but I can’t see us getting them again in less than a day, basically
