This is what needs to happen. Need to drag him wider and wider. You could see yesterday he continued to edge further past off stump as we bowled wider. We need to continue doing that, as he’ll lose his shape coming out wider and wider, and that’s when you get him nicking off. Let him chase the ball instead of feeding him. And get the other end out

I know Australians are not the most popular on here but Justin Langer is a top lad.

TBH most of that vintage come across well off the field. Hayden, Langer, Warne, Ponting, Waugh, McGrath, Gilchrist, Gillespie, all pretty much epitomise the play deadly hard on the field and be a good bloke off it stuff that I think is at its best in Test Cricket. For all the stuff around the mental disintegration they won because they were excellent cricketers, nothing less.

Whereas the next generation weren’t nearly as good and thought that being a bunch of twats on the field was the same thing as playing hard cricket
