ago Cracking album, although like the band, a tad overrated (didn't produce anywhere near enough to be hailed as a great).
28 years ago, NME reviewed said album and said it was shite. 28 years ago, NME realised that they were not down with the kids and reviewed again, saying it was class.
Nearly all the lads my age who say they loved it at school were all listening to things like Stock Aitken and Waterman stuff, Phil Collins and Queen. Pretty much whatever tat their parents had on in the car. Must say it passed me by until I was mid teens. Cracking album though.
He also said Oasis were the second best band of all time. Any songs where they sound similar? They were the band that inspired them to form a band, and they thought they were cool (Liam said he saw Brown live and thought "I could do that") but that's not a blue print.
I'm not disputing what he said... He also said morning glory was fully written but he needed a title, which he got from a kid greeting him with "What's the story morning glory" on the phone... Problem being one of the songs was already called that (yes, he talks shite). Any examples of them sounding the same, as they're a blue print marra?
