I wouldn't be writing off the top 4; okay, we'd need to put together more consistency than we have to date (obviously, otherwise we'd be there already) but I think we are capable of that improvement.

Other teams will drop points too and, hopefully, with the right manager appointment and a couple of players back from injury to add depth, and we will have a right crack.

Problem is if we don't go up this year we will almost certainly lose Clarke in the summer (if not in January). T'hat will mean we'll have lost Amad and Clarke from the team that was playing such great football last year.
Yeah, that's just going to be the way of things. My head has accepted it tbh. Might not feel quite the same when it actually happens, mind!

If we had a competent striker would say we would make the top 6 with a bit to spare. We have to work incredibly hard at times to get up the pitch as we have no option to send the ball over the top or into the channel.

Jobe actually did channel running to very good effect v WBA but outside of that something you rarely see from us.

I reckon we can't crack the top 4 . However it's only SAFC WBA and Boro battling for 5th and 6th. Every time one of those two drops points is worth celebrating.

Long may Norwich and Watford's troubles continue : great work from our current overlords to have us ahead of any parachute teams.

We have a nice run of fixtures now that could lock us in to the top six and make us look an even better proposition for any January arrivals and also play ourselves into form ahead of Aragorn v Sauron in the Cup
Losing to Huddersfield and Plymouth is surely proof there are no "nice" fixtures. How many times in the last few seasons have we played well against the higher-up teams only to come crashing back down to earth playing half-heartedly against teams in the bottom half?

This league is crazy, I think Coventry will certainly improve, potentially Bristol City too. I think Preston will tail off. It’ll be a good relegation battle, a few weeks ago people said the bottom 3 looked doomed and now look, shows how quickly things can change. Birmingham, Stoke and Millwall all looking over their shoulder with panic now.
