Happy days. I've got leave coming out of my ears after this year so a few days off to watch some cricket will help soothe the soul.NEWS: Our 2021You must be logged on to see external linksfixtures will be released at 7am tomorrowYou must be logged on to see external links

I quite fancy a trip to Taunton next year! A few days checking out their pitch, drinking cider in the sun while following Durham CCC on Cricinfo and listening to Emmo on radio N*wc*stl* sounds a reett canny idea.NEWS: Our 2021You must be logged on to see external linksfixtures will be released at 7am tomorrowYou must be logged on to see external links

Slight issue with that particular Xmas wish DoogI quite fancy a trip to Taunton next year! A few days checking out their pitch, drinking cider in the sun while following Durham CCC on Cricinfo and listening to Emmo on radio N*wc*stl* sounds a reett canny idea.
If the fixtures are kind!
Looks like a tough start for Durham in the new championship set up. First match is Notts(a) starting 7th April then next week Essex (a). First home match is Derbyshire starting on 22nd April.
Can’t say I’m that excited, and won’t be until we know we’ll be allowed in
I know this thing has turned me into a right pessimistic sod though. Aye 2000 should be enough for most counties. Not sure it will be for Yorkshire thoughSurely by April we’ll be allowed back in. No valid reason why we couldn’t be to be honest. Vaccination will be well on its way towards providing herd immunity and if we can’t properly socially distance in a cricket ground there’s summit wrong. Should easily get 2,000 in our ground with the correct measures in place.
we shouldn't fear Notts who haven't won a red ball game since 2018. Probably early season best time to play Essex when Harmer may be least effective.Looks like a tough start for Durham in the new championship set up. I agree about Notts I think they are a bunch of talented slackers but now and again they get it right especially first game of the season.we shouldn't fear Notts who haven't won a red ball game since 2018. Probably early season best time to play Essex when Harmer may be least effective.
Hopefully Durham will be much stronger with the recent signings.
It may depend on what extra measures the club have to put in place and to what expense as to how many spectators they allow in. At the end of the day most people who turn up to watch championship cricket are members anyway and a fair percentage are life members so they have got our money anyway.Be a fuckin disgrace if members aren't allowed mind. I'm lost off with the new structure blah blah but I couldn't care less as long as I can watch it otherwise it will be hard to be motivated into taking much notice again

Hence my reference to following Durham CCC on Cricinfo and Marty on Radio Scum! Not sure if I'll get up for a home game, so Essex is guaranteed, the rest of the away games will be depending on dates! I well fancy Worcester, should the ground not be under water!Slight issue with that particular Xmas wish Doog
