2017/2018 season renewals

I'm not renewing ours this time , the two lads have work commitments now and my husband has reached the end of the line with it .
I never thought I would be the one that made the decision but the events over the summer and this season have just been the last straw. I'll pick and choose games and go to some with my husband and some with my son but for now I've really had enough - it's very sad to feel this way

I will renew but not for footballing reasons. It's my one day I have left to myself, where I can met the lads, have a few jars and generally go on like I'm 18 again. I used to do home and away but once the bairn came along that all stopped. Not renewing would mean my only remaining chance for shenanigans would disappear.

I hate with a passion what has been happening in the last 6yrs or so in terms of the football we "play" (barring the 6 in a row), the attitude of the players and the general malaise hanging over the club.

Last year we received the renewal packs mid February and still nothing this year

Must be due out soon. I wonder how many would cancel if there was a price increase?

I will be renewing. I love the club!

I'll be renewing for better or for worse.

Re. Value for money. Our tickets are excellent value for money.
You buy a ticket to watch a football match. You aren't guaranteed entertainment or victories by doing so.
That's the risk you take as the customer I'm afraid.
I'll be renewing. Will keep doing so as long as my mates do.

I'd say that our ticket prices are as low as you could expect to pay for a premier league ticket but there's no way it's value for money. I understand the point about the risk involved but there's actually no risk at all going off the last 5 or 6 seasons. You know it's going to be absolute shite football for pretty much the whole season.

Spot on. Which is why an increase would be a piss take and a slap in the face

Having said that, i would have gladly paid the cost of my season ticket just to see the Chelsea and Everton games at the end of last season. Brilliant atmosphere and games.
i only went to 4 games at home last season.
Norwich L 3-1
Skernks W 3-0
Bournemouth D 1-1
Chelsea W 3-2

40 quid a Sunderland goal
200 pound a Sunderland win

This sounds exactly like me, although I still get to 8 or so aways. I work half the weekends a year so can use an unreasonable amount of holidays at work to go to the match. I'll renew because of the reasons you say (and that's it's harder to not renew, I.e, you actually have to do something) but I'll not be using anywhere near the amount of holidays I usually do if we're in the Championship.
