Regardless of which division we are in I will renew. The club is in a mess financially and will need all the help it can get. I won't walk away from the club.

I'm tempted to toss mine in. I've got loads of points though and my old man is telling me to keep it just for them but it's £400 and I just don't think the club deserve mine or anyone else's money for the way it's been ran! There always seems to be freebies floating around or cheap tickets on the go so might go down that route should I want to go again.

yeah. unbelieveable value. 18.50 a game for the premiership is outstanding.

I would agree, if we were watching premier league quality week after week. Fecking club should be paying us to come considering the shite we have had to put up with over the last few years.

Having said that, i would have gladly paid the cost of my season ticket just to see the Chelsea and Everton games at the end of last season. Brilliant atmosphere and games.

The points is why im going to keep mine / my dads
Enjoy away days too much and its a reason to go home now ive moved away

you packing in like mol ?
yep mate...I said two seasons ago that this time was coming. After seeing the best of SAFC in those final games last season I thought that the message with SAFC had finally sunk in but how wrong was I. The lad had a chat at Christmas, with the other family and decided that enough was really enough after nearly 60 years supporting the Lads. I'll still look out for the results but my passion has gone after being taken for granted for so long. Its not the fact that the results are poor, that i can take but its the lack of will, desire, passion and fight for my club by these so called modern professional (millionaire) footballers and we have decided to call it a day.

I'm done, and I applaud anyone that renews; you have my complete admiration as a better fan than me.

The whole match day experience is garbage for me. I go to matches alone (I'm originally from Gosforth so all my mates support the mags), sit in an atmosphere-less part of the ground next to my old man, who I meet at the game only, invariably watch a shit performance then slope off home, feeling shit that I've left my kids behind for a few hours to watch tripe.

The prices are cheap enough, but that's not the issue for me. Nor is the division, as my mind is made up regardless of whether we stay up. I just don't enjoy it anymore.

I will of course renew but I am torn as to the people who won't.
One part of me wants to call them names, other other part understands just how bad it is.

I know our position is bad but feel for those plastics up the road... Nee champions league or cups to look forward to;)

my lad would rather go and watch the Northern League and see some "football". He's 16 and very cynical about the cheating and gamesmanship etc, not got red and white specs like me
That's one of the reasons I'm not that arsed about relegation - in Gus' great escape I was already plotting trips to Sheffield, Barnsley Nottingham etc and the buggers keep getting out of it !

I'll be renewing for better or for worse.

Re. Value for money. Our tickets are excellent value for money.
You buy a ticket to watch a football match. You aren't guaranteed entertainment or victories by doing so.
That's the risk you take as the customer I'm afraid.

the way we are viewed these days unfortunately! I will be renewing as moving 300 miles away didn't stop me 11 years ago so no reason to stop now

Its the constant drudge over to the stadium for the past five years that have worn me and the lad down. I've seen much worse sunderland sides but that was due to the players not being very good but at least they tried... This lot of modern footballer are only interested in one thing, Money.

I'd cancel if they put the price up at all, regardless of the league were in.

They have absolutely no justification to do so and would be taking the piss out of the fans by attempting to do so.

Dont forget, if we go down you will get more games for your money if they do not put up prices.:D:D

I'll renew no matter what as long as I live. However, I miss a few games now if I can't be arsed and just watch on the telly. I'm at the point now where I really don't care if we go down or not - I just want to win some games. If the choice was between going down or staying up just to face another season at the bottom I choose to go down.
