For the non-Durham scores and whatnot.

James Taylor started the season with a century.
Modern started with a 50.

Yorkshire to win it, from Notts and Warwickshire. All 3 very strong. Hopefully the CC winners curse will hit Yorkshire though!

I assume all the national press have predicted us to get relegated as usual?
No, they seem to be hedging their bets and predicting us for mid table obscurity. TBH 4rth or 5th would seem to be about right to me. 4rth would be a great season but Yorkshire, Warwickshire and Notts look too strong for us. International callups may play their part though.

From what I see they're mostly saying Yorks again, which depends on international call-ups, and the Warks.

If you were to sum all the prediction up they have all the teams finishing in the same squence that they finished last year, lazy.

Looking at Yorkshire's side today they could struggle if the continue to be severely hampered by international call-ups. Currently got Root, Lyth, Ballance, Bairstow, Rashid and Plunkett (any I've missed) in the Caribbean.

True but when the games move back to the UK later those players that don't make the England team can be released to their counties. that would inlcude Mark Wood and Stokes too whenever they don't play.

Just come across this on Sporting Life - Durham tipped as a good outside bet. 8/1.
