2011 Photograph of the Year

Time to vote for the Photo of the Year for 2011.

The poster who wins will receive $100 in Amazon vouchers, courtesy of the Competition Sponsor (me).

A slightly different format to this vote from the monthly vote in that you can only vote for ONE shot.

You have seven days to vote and the monthly winners are here.

If there's a tie after seven days the tied photographs will go into 3 days extra time.

Re: 2011 Photograph of the Year

Peachbum's starlings on the trolleys for me. Looks like it may been a tadge photochopped (?) but fantastic nonetheless.

Re: 2011 Photograph of the Year

Considering the style (as challenged) and the subject, for me it has to be Clyde's July entry, Capture a Stranger - street style. I absolutely love this shot. So much expression. Love the two bridesmaids being so attentive to the bride while she's looking away and on her mobile.

Mind you, there's some real crackers and it was very hard to choose.

Re: 2011 Photograph of the Year

That's not proper photochopping. I regularly nick the moon out of one image and combine it with the foreground from another. Did you use a tele lens or ninja up to the starlings?

Ninja'd up. Don't know what ninja means though. :)

Re: 2011 Photograph of the Year

Took me a while to decide between Andym or Peachbum.
I went for Andym because I voted for it in the monthly competition whereas I can't remember Peachbum's. I must have missed that months competition.

Re: 2011 Photograph of the Year

Clyde's January effort for me. Really liked that one. But a close call, Peachbum's stinkers nearly got it.

Re: 2011 Photograph of the Year

Gone for Peachbums Starlings, I like the uniformity of it.

I would like to tanks everyone who bothers because I get quite a bit of enjoyment looking at your work, well done everyone

;)

Re: 2011 Photograph of the Year

As ever the best photos are being ignored in favour of a cheap trick :p

C'mon, clyde is a brilliant photographer when he puts his fireworks away :)

Re: 2011 Photograph of the Year

I know nowt about the intricacies of photography so I picked the one that appealed to me most purely because of the affect it had on me.

My selection is Monkeyheeds in June.

Re: 2011 Photograph of the Year

Andy m for me, but a fantastic standard overall. Well done chaps.

Re: 2011 Photograph of the Year

Clyde - September

Amazing mate.

Loved The Great Suprendo's May effort too but unfortunately could only pick one.

Some great photo's again this year.

I despair of people's taste quite frankly. There's 3 brilliant photos there and only 1 is challenging

But you would be a deserved winner

Leicester Mackem for me. Lovely stuff!
