Yes we were deducted 3 points for not playing at Blackburn (claimed not enough fit players and had Premier League approval but lost the court case). Without those points deductions Boro would have finished 14th ... instead we were relegated on the last day of the season.

Cost a fortune that season but worth every penny ... 16 FA Cup and League Cup matches including FA Cup semi-final replay and League Cup Final replay.

In 109 years Boro had never even been past the FA Cup Quarter Final (never won in 11 matches) so that season will always be the most amazing in the clubs history. Will always be grateful to have witnessed that and accept I won't ever see the likes again.
 
We had the chance of playing there twice in 2004 but we got beat in both the FA Cup and play off semi finals.

It will be my 8th time watching the lads at Wembley. About time we broke the jinx methinks.
