1st change of tactics /formation for as long as can remember

Using jobe an extra man in MF first half was a master stroke, then in the second half did he go 5 at the back ? Had both Huggins and Hume on the right and switched Clark to LB , great to see him being proactive.

Mowbray never adapted irrespective of opponents . And too prepared go with same old and cost us too often
Obvs easier play with no forward against top team but Pleasantly surprised with tonights changes and how it worked
100% agree. It was great to watch, most I’ve enjoyed a match all season.
Changing it up to going to 4 at the back plus Clarke as LWB at times second half coincided with us scoring too.
Thought the back 5 were all solid and Dan Neil was class!

Very brave to go 3 at the back, Prichard as a false 9. It worked well, we completely contained Leeds, never forced Patto into a decent save (a late clearance off the line admittedly)

Then another tweak to bring on Ekwah and Hume going into a 3 with Clarke into wing back which was a worry but we deservedly got over the line.

Good tactics and excellent team work.

Mowbray was naive in sense he played same against every team and thought we had enough quality!
Nice see few tweaks and respect opponents but still belief in what we got

We started with 3 at the back (5 if you prefer) went to a 4, scored then Hume dropped into right centre back as 1 of a 3 again.

In itself it was good tonight but generally I’m getting sick of not playing with a striker
I think it’s ludicrous tbh 🤣

Football simply requires more than an arm around the shoulder these days. We need to be adaptable and trust the players at times.

So far his tactical changes have been exceptional.
too often Tony would just swap out personnel with no change in tactics at all.
do we now have the mythical “plan B”?

Yep moved people around midgame and it worked. Was he scared of TM? Or was the stubborn old man not listening?

I think Mowbray did listen. We often talked about Mowbray making changes 10 to 15 minutes too late last season. Dodds made them at the right time today possibly because he didn't have to explain them to anyone
