Even deathly Dave resignedNot all sacked mind.
Whenever these posts about how many managers come up it’s always conveniently sidestepped how many left us by choice.Even deathly Dave resigned
Aye, if anything there are several managers who were probably given too long. Bruce, Moyes, Ross, Parkinson and Johnson all fall under that category. Can’t think of one manager that didn’t deserve the boot tbh
They are merely coaches these daysIt doesn’t really matter who the manager is, they all get sacked within a season or 2
Perhaps that is due to the fact that the squad is a lot weaker today than it was a year agoIf you keep appointing the wrong managers it’s no surprise when they have to get the boot.
Mowbray has done a good job but nobody can argue with the fact we’ve regressed this season.
Yes, we do want to add to that statSince Peter Reid left the club in October 2002 we have had 19 permanent managers in 21 years.
Do we really want to make that stat a little bit worse at this point in time, has Tony Mowbray done so badly that some fans are totally justified in calling for his head.
I think not, he's done enough to deserve more time.
Coaches are not becoming a thing of the past, maybe managers who have total control will though.By that rationale are managers or coaches now becoming a thing of the past?
They would appear to be the one person at a club that is totally expendable, maybe the team skipper or the owner or the DOF will end up picking the team and deploying the tactics.
This is not meant to sound flippant, it seems to be where we are heading ?
Perhaps that is due to the fact that the squad is a lot weaker today than it was a year ago
He is currently making it easier for them with his daft tacticshe clearly has no tactics to overcome what opponents know is an easy way to beat us. Sit in and you’re almost guaranteed 3 points against Sunderland.
Absolutely correct, and look at the records of managers after they’ve been sacked by us.Which of those 19 would you have kept on?
Only really Keane, Big Sam and Alex Neil.
the answer is yes, as after doing the job he was employed to do last season, he now seems to be taking us backward. The reason we have had so many managers is that in the vast majority of cases they have failed dismally.Since Peter Reid left the club in October 2002 we have had 19 permanent managers in 21 years.

Not two players though in reality.I don’t disagree.
But you could argue there’s only Amad and Batth who would have played last night if available?
Surely two players can’t knock us back that much?
There was only fat Sam any good out of the lot of them . I thought getting Moyes was a good move, but as usual i was wrong . I think when all the resrt were signed on I thought ffs NO,It doesn’t really matter who the manager is, they all get sacked within a season or 2

CB replaced with a less effective CB.
Amad was on loan and fair play hard to replace a 30 million loan player.
We also had Stewart whose time was limited due to injury but still managed to score ten more goals in 13 games than our 4 replacements have thus far.
Also had Simms for half a season who managed to score 7 more goals than our strikers.
Were also missing Cory Evans, a DM who we've been desperate for cover for before he got injured.
We were very iffy at the end of last season though. We basically got into the playoffs because every team from 5th to 10tg went on a run of games where they barely won any.Point being we did without Stewart, Simms and Evans from January.
Batth was a choice. They signed two new centre halfs but Mowbray persists with ONien. Agree on Amad, but none of the signings have come anywhere near him. Jobe has been good in spells but is 18 years old and is expected to be inconsistent.
Totally agree on Evans, he’s crucial in how we play.
