It will be over eventually but it should be pretty clear that the vast majority who post on these threads don't have the first clue what they're talking about and that's because they're never really been interested enough to do some reading and instead just want to use these topics to argue with strangers on a message board. The most bizarre thing is they don't give a fuck that it's obvious they don't know what they're talking about, they just keep repeating the mantra: "vaccines, greens, it's over, fuck it, full life". 'Easily the most farcical set of threads I've ever read on any message board, you'd think they're on a wind up given how ridiculous most of the posts are and have been over the course of more than a year.

Around 23k deaths since they claim it "over",10 milion cases,thousands been in hospital,thousands with long covid.Yet they just shrug.

What does it matter to you? Why do you hate people being positive about improving numbers? If you don’t like it don’t read it.

We will all enjoy the improving situation and our return to normal life. You can try and tell every one how shit things are and live life to what you deem to be safe.

If there were three worldometers for Flu, Cancer and Obesity, many would freak out on a daily basis, but at least there would be perspective.

A highly transmissible disease will infect people including those who are already close to death. They are included within the statistics.

I don’t understand the postings of some on here. They want things to get worse. They want restrictions. They want fear. They want negativity.

So they can say ‘I told you so’.

Of the deaths registered in Week 1 in England and Wales, 922 mentioned “novel coronavirus (COVID-19)”, accounting for 7.5% of all deaths; this was an increase in the number of deaths compared with Week 52 2021 (582 deaths, 6.9% of all deaths).

How many people will have had "novel coronavirus (COVID-19)" that week.

A week where less than the average died anyway.

If all these people are dying of covid then it has done a great job of pushing out other causes of death.
