If we dont see a rise in the next 2-3 weeks you have to wonder if the virus is struggling for places to go. It seems remarkably that given we are enjoying packed clubs, bars, restaurants, sports events, gigs festivals etc with no restrictions the numbers are still fluctuating between 30-40k cases
I'm maybe a bit of geeky sad person but I find the current situation really really interesting. Very sad for the families of those losing their lives/hospitalised but what's happening and is going to happen with case numbers is fascinating.

All countries will have to go through it. If the figures are different, they either don't party like it's 1999 or are fiddling the figures.

We might be fatter and lazy as fuck mind. That could be a factor.

The only reliable number, not subject to lags and such, is number of people admitted into hospital. Upwards of 1,000 looks like the new trend, and so getting worse not better.

I think you are going to be pleasantly surprised that you your miserable posts will be proved wrong and we can all celebrate the fact.

Based on nothing but optimistic view of life and the fact we are 2 months into a great summer with people in full flow and hordes aren’t dying and patients aren’t on stretchers in the corridors.

I will bookmark this.
