Indeed. Taxi through early this year for me this year.

Edit: In fact everyone should and just take a bar over through there.

I'd be up for that.

I've got 17 points, with WBA and QPR to also go on. Possibly Chelsea as well, but not sure.

2 mates have 24/25 each so we should have more than enough points.

Simply can't be fucked on with being kept outside Sunderland central station for 20/30 mins while we wait for a Metro, be herded onto there and then kept in Newcastle Central station for 10/15 minutes and into the ground for kick off.

Don't get me started on the escort back last season as well

Sounds good. Well I think there's 4 or 5 of us going through. Bring your three and all eight of us will take the Toon

Straight up to the ground for turnstiles opening for me and a couple of pints. Did it last year and it was good. Have drunk in Newcastle pre match a couple of times and its crap having to watch what you say, train turning into a joke and buses are boring.

I've always wondered what happens after the game. Do you just hang around outside if you aren't on a bus and everyone that's left gets escorted up to Central?

Come out and those going on the buses turn right and those going to the train go left. 1 and a half hours later you get to central

ah. Makes sense. I'm assuming going there there's a set train that everyone gets on & everyone leaves the pub around the same time to go catch the train? Complete novice at this to & from St James lark, as you can tell.

Last season it was metro's. They usually designate a couple of non stop ones.

It's rubbish, waited outside central for 45 minutes in the rain last season

aye, it's probably shit but if I manage to get there this season I want to experience that rather than sat on a bus. Done that for Boro last season.
