The speech that starts at 15:30 should have been given to SD when he came into the club.
Thats not me being a smart ass but recognizing how well the lineage of family, location and football are woven together.

There's a bit in the football museum in Manchester that has the photo with this video playing along side

Bumped into Stuart Clarke when I was with my brother in Germany 2006 at the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremburg. He was there to photograph the England v Trinidad WC game. My brother @tarantula knows him as he runs a bar in Ambleside just over the road from where The Homes of Football shop was (run by Stuart Clarke) A great shop to look around when it was there.

A truly great photograph.

Yeah 6 first division titles and 2 FA cup wins feck all really
He does mention the early wins in his dialogue, but we've won one Major Trophy in the last 80 odd years, which is pretty poor by the standards set by the early years. Not many on here will have seen us win more than one Trophy. How many have you seen us win? The majority of fans will have seen fuck all, and that will continue for a few years to come.

That applies to the majority of clubs though, we're hardly unique there.

Shared many afternoons with Stuart Clarke when he had the Shop in Ambleside and his football knowledge and passion is immense..he is a Watford fan and loves the north east and has a big soft spot for safc , as he said in the video its a very photogenic place and never gets a bad picture and by his own admission he reckons he will probably have more photos of safc than any other club.
And hes not a bell ..some people are just too touchy ..if you ever get the chance to go to the football museum in manchester where he displays and get the chance to met him and tell him you support sunderland his eyes will light up and he will let you know his feelings about us
Great find by th Op by the way
