We played decent today until they scored. It's not Sams fault Borini blazes it over the bar and puts one past the post at 0-0.

Same as last week he can't do anything about Ben Foster being MOTM

The tactics weren't the problem IMO.

We looked comfortable and were arguably the better side until Kaboul had his weekly brainfart.

Allardyce can only do so much.

Don't see what else could be done with the midfield. It's not like we're f***ing blessed with options.

I hate all this 'deserve to go down' shite anarl. There's still games left. If we're still in the bottom 3 after that then fair enough but f***ing hell.

I think we are playing better than most of the relegation candidates, but have just lacked a little bit in the final third,

The 3 defensive midfielders still got us a few chances that we should have done better with

Borini and Rodwells shooting want f***ing slating

Totally agree. Can't fault the manager for Borini finishing like a Lepper

For all the "big improvement under Allardyce" craic, am I right in saying that half of his wins as manager have come against sides with ten men?

Thrown points away with silly subs and tactics. We could have been out of site. Allardyce whilst he has improved us is not totally blameless for the position we're in.

To me like we are side who clearly need wins. Therefore playing Khazri in the middle in front of Kirchoff and M'Vila with Borini and Lens supporting Defoe will give us a real goal threat. NDoye offers very little sadly - we need more pace in the side and he fumbles around looking average.

Losing Adam Johnson made a big difference too. We are woefully light in quality attacking options

Borini and lens don't offer anything never mind a goal threat

Loads of us pointed this out in January. People wouldn't listen though

The club must have had their hands tied with the wave cap % thing you'd imagine as we were desperate to shift afew out the door before we could sign.

Even Watmore getting injured is 1 less option for us

Agree. Started a thread about same last week. Only otions are NDoye or Lens in and sacrifice Cattermole or Mvilla. Would be Cattermole for me. Mind thought Borini had a stinker today so would start NDoye and Lens next home game. probably start Lens for Borini against Norwich but same team as today apart from that with Norwich needing the win more than we do due to being at home.
