Three lions on my shirt

not heard that at an England men’s game ?
Yes but the three lion badge is the

emblem and symbol of the English football association
The men's team however As a team have never been personified as lions
Just back in from the Sunderland match and can I just say Haway the Lasses.

Wife has the flags and bunting up in the front room and I have 5 round in the morning to watch the game.

Loaded post, but still....

C4 news just said this is the biggest game for England since 1966.

Anyone agree?
Have any of our senior teams played in a world cup final since?

I am 57 next month and was born in the September of 1966 so this is the first England football team to reach a World cup final in my lifetime. Like I said I am nearly 57. The crazy thing is, loads of stuborn hard blokes some younger than me won't even watch it when its quite possibly and even probably the only chance they will ever get to see an England team in a World cup final.
She was so excited in the Semi Final !
Ian Wright is on ITV I think and I love his infectious enthusiasm for the womens team so its a dilemna.

I'll definitely be watching it. I've watched as much of the tournament as possible and thoroughly enjoyed it. What I can't do is to pretend that the lionesses winning the World Cup is in any way comparable to the men's trophy and the significance of winning the World Cup. It might do in years to come but they are two completely separate entities for a whole host of reasons.

Haway me bonny bit lasses. You can do it…. Dare to achieve

Morning all, really excited for this. At kick off we are on a train back to seville for flight home. Shocking timing but was only train time available months ago. Do have train wifi so hoping to watch. Nervous as well as no is really talking about Spain media. They are an excellent team and its not going to be easy. Haway the lionesses © Brilliant marketing of that name was one of the ways to get people to watch, i aint got no problem with that!

Definitely Spain, they’ve had the difficult route, England have been fortunate with a relatively easy route against lesser teams.

Just had a look at the odds both the same

Going up to Scotland shortly so will catch 2nd half

One family we know have got a Spain flag hung up

Sad bastards
