“We are Liverpool, This Means More”...

Heysel was an accident, the cause largely down to the appalling state of the ground. Ok, the stampede was provoked by the charge - but no one was directly killed by the Liverpool fans.
Also, no-one should be sent to prison for stabbing someone.

It's entirely the knifes fault, not the person holding it. Total accidents.

And Heysel. They always seem to get a free pass for that one. You speak to a fan about it they say they apologised that should be the end of it.

Heysel was appalling and the acts of a number of supporters on that day were a stain on LFC and the English game. The number of people responsible that day are a tiny fraction of the Liverpool supporter base yet some people simply cant separate the two occasions. Its as if the actions of those fans at Heysel should make you fell less compassion about Hillsborough or that the fans at Sheffield that day must in some way be responsible because of the actions of completely different people a few years earlier. Its clearly ridiculous and I cant get over how the minds of some people operate.

I don't think it's about saying that every single LFC supporter was complicit in Heysel.

It's the stinking fact that they - and use "they" in a collective sense - spent years (rightly) screaming and trying to exonerate themselves for Hillsborough, and yet any mention of Heysel is shushed up and not to be mentioned.
Their bizarre display in "solidarity" with Juve a few years ago (that Juve turned their backs on) was just downright offensive, and shows their level of absolute hypocrisy and ignorance.

It's not saying that every single one of them was complicit in what happened at Heysel; but they are complicit in the ignorance and and deaf ears on the subject.

Couldn't agree more. This board has been full of fuckers slagging of Division 1 Sunderland for recruiting a manager that has had teams promoted from division 1 and then have the cheek to accuse other clubs of being 'self entitled'. We aren't popular amongst a lot of teams in this league (understandably IMO) for exactly the same reason as many on here are accusing Liverpool fans of.

Utter bollocks.

Couldn’t agree more the lack of self awareness amongst some on here is staggering. We aren’t particularly liked in this division because we have loads of self entitled pricks

Except we don’t have billboards proclaiming “This Means More”. It’s one thing for individual fans to be deluded / self entitled but in LFCs case it’s the entire club.

What “Means More” exactly ? Why ?

And are we really 'by far the greatest team the world has ever seen?' ;)

Can you please point to the evidence that the jury missed in the inquest as it seems you have a far greater level of detail about it than they had?

The footage by the gate next to the turnstiles on cctv at 2.45 when there is a trickle compared to 2.55 when it's suddenly swelling is enough evidence for me.
