“We are Liverpool, This Means More”...

Embarassing looking at the BBC page earlier the headline at HT was "liverpool searching for equaliser"

Not that Spurs were winning or Liverpool were losing.

Make no mistake they are the Establishments team - dont be fooled by all this scouse socialists vs der corrupt oil clubs that the media spew out they are Tory el plastico FC cheered on by Sky/BBC/BT sports to rake in all those plastic subscriptions across the globe same as Man Yoo.
If any other club had have booed the national anthem at Wembley, it would have received wall to wall coverage on sky sports. Not a mention of it other than from freelance journalists on Twitter.

That was absolutely shocking.

They seem to have convinced the media that acts like this are "passion" so throwing bottles at City's team bus or booing the national anthem receives a different reaction than if Millwall did the same thing.

Jimmy Tarbuck told us that they had a fair, knowledgeable and humorous crowd ( from his home in Surrey ) so all that booing of every touch a Spurs player had today, which they've taken to doing in most big games, is obviously just my ears playing tricks.

Much as Hillsborough was a terrible disaster and it was important that lessons were learned, I have to admit to a sinking feeling when the Liverpool fans were exonerated of any blame and their actions outside the ground were deemed irrelevant. For decades their sense of entitlement and sheer arrogance has always puzzled and nauseated me in equal measure and an unfortunate byproduct of the enquiries has been the fuelling of this.
Very well summed up and exactly my feelings....I agree 100% it's a shame the media always have their rose spectacles on when the word, Kop , Klopp or Liverpool is mentioned

I've visited many major cities around the the world... Some rough like New Orleans, but Liverpool is the only place I've ever had bother... Punched for no reason once and threatened with the prospect of a Stanley knife (didn't see it like) for questioning their bus queue etiquette.... In short anfield is a cauldron of fuckwits! 😀
Total opposite for me. I love going to Liverpool. People are very friendly and helpful. It's a great city

I’m probably in the minority but I wouldn’t give a toss if they won it. At least the scousers are like Man U and Arsenal. Not ‘new money‘ like City and Chelsea. I barely see any Liverpool fans in my day to day life other than the odd plastic one or someone wearing a strip in the street so it’s hardly going to make much difference to my f***ing life 😂 Sounds like people on this board must live amongst them every day the level of bitterness. However that said the media thing I do get... that special night at anfield stuff makes you want to put a boot through the tv. But it can’t get any worse than it already is I reckon

And Heysel. They always seem to get a free pass for that one. You speak to a fan about it they say they apologised that should be the end of it.

I have never understood why their actions were deemed irrelevant.

The people who died weren't pissed up and pushing to get in.

In their defence I think the argument was that they shouldn't have been allowed to.

It's the media that inflate their ego, that's why the mags are the way they are.

They were new money when the Moores family were throwing money at them in the 70s
