“It’s a Goal!” Show…

Remember this in the 80’s? I think it was on Metro Radio with Charles Harrison iirc. No full live commentary, just straight over to the ground with “It’s a Goal!” when someone scored - heart used to be in your mouth - was it our goal or theirs

Think it was on Radio Newcastle back in the 80's presented by a guy called Railton Howes. Remember getting my hair cut as a kid when the barber had the radio on when we got humped off Watford 8-0 .

Railton Howes was the presenter I remember. Remember being in the barbers as a kid with it on for the 8-0 Watford game.
