“Explosion” wakes half of London at 4.15am



The last time I remember was over Leeds maybe 3-4 years back. They'd scrambled to chase off the Ruskies over the north sea.
Didn't half make a bang like, half the street were outside scratching their heads :D
 
Scrambled to an unresponsive plane apparently. However turned out to be a false alarm. 2 Typhoonsfrom Conningsby.

Sonic booms heard as RAF scrambles Typhoons

Loud bangs heard across parts of Yorkshire were sonic booms from RAF Typhoon jets scrambled to identify an "unresponsive civilian aircraft", the RAF says.
