£30 for ticket

At SoL in the league, Absolute disgrace imho.

Baffles me. Each to their own but no chance il be paying that, il only go this season if i get a freebie. Or if they lowered prices.

Be mad if people dont agree that that price is far to steep. We're in league 1 ffs.

Dear me

For comparison, Kings Lynn in the Conference charge £22 to stand, or their best seat is £26. For non league football. Their season ticket is £420 (standing).

£30 to the SOL isn't so bad marra.

Like I say, it's a different planet on here. Your assertion is that £30 is nothing for "most people" whether they spend it on booze, takeaways or football?

It's a Sunderland I don't recognise. It's just more of the same old lies with people who post how rich they are to fulfill some fantasy
I get where you're coming from, but people who can't afford a night out or a take away wouldn't be spending money on the luxury of a footie ticket so those people don't even come into it.

Families living in poverty are the reason the club gives tickets away to schools and charities.

People who would buy a ticket, are the people who can spend that £30 on other luxuries and these are the people that will moan about the price.

Na your missing the point. Nout to do with how wealthy you are, id be saying the same if i was rich, its all about what you're getting for the value of your money

Then you're talking about individual opinion. I would rather spend £30 on a ticket to the match than booze or take away.

Other people wouldn't dream of spending that on a ticket, but have no problem spending £100 on a nice bottle of wine or something.

Prices are hideous imo, if you don't agree with me that's fine. You're OK to be wrong

30 quid is too expensive like, I have no interest in what Kings Lynn charge, thats up to them

I paid less for my visiting mates when we were in the PL

No way you can justify charging 30 quid for Wigan Sunderland

and it will put people off going who were floating, no doubt about it
If I had to pay match by match prices I reckon I would hardly bother turning up.

Same aye.

Its taken care of with direct debits

but if I was just had a free saturday and thought about going, I'd sack it off for 30 quid, just gan for a walk.

£100 on a bottle of wine 😂😂😂

Just bought 2 for £32 each, work most Saturdays so season ticket isn’t worth it. If team looks decent I’ll be there when I can, if not I’ll be in the boozer !!

Had a season ticket for years, when we were decent (premier league era) then stopped going apart from the odd game here and there.

Had a season ticket when we were decent, and then when we became shite you stopped going to support your club?

That's the jist I'm getting. Pardon me if I'm incorrect.

Yes because i stopped enjoying it, ive already mentioned i dont care about sticking with a certian something if i dont enjoy it, the football was awful, the atmosphere was depressing, so yes o stopped going, nout wrong with that, and im not really arsed about all this fan loyalty stuff, il not spend money on something that i wont enjoy, same as i wouldnt spend 20 quid on a Chinese, cos imo its shite. Indian yes haha

Yet spend time posting on SAFC forum telling others that something is too expensive that you wouldn't pay for anyway?!!

As for the atmosphere the past few seasons have been cracking at times (last years 2nd leg play off for example) with only 10k in.

That says more about those who still attend rather than the ones who chucked the towl in when we get relegated from the PL.
