So if they are charging £30+ that must be the going rate? We are no worse than many and probably better than the majority. That’s the point. It’s much of a muchness.
It’s not some space age super stadium.

It was £16 to stand in the last season at Roker.
My Season ticket works out at less than £15 per game, so I'm not complaining.
I do see how the cost per individual game is steep, but it cost me £27 at places like Rochdale and Peterborough in recent seasons, so probably the going rate given 14 months with no revenue.
No they don't. Most people on here may spend £30 every ten minutes because most are incredibly rich. But they aren't representative of Sunderland or the north east. Most people in Sunderland spend that in ten minutes down the pub or on just eat.
If you wanna twist then write to the club.
Or even better, get a season ticket and it works out at about £16 a ticket.
In all honesty 15 max
Id pay that nout more
Was a rule brought in a fair few years ago about same price for comparable seats to avoid away fans being ripped off, don't know if it stil exists. Is there a rule that you cannot charge away supporters more than home supporters?
£30 is a big hit when you are struggling, if there's 2 of you and you include transport and a couple of pints in the ground and a meet-up after you will be lucky stay this side of £100.
Too.At SoL in the league, Absolute disgrace imho.
Baffles me. Each to their own but no chance il be paying that, il only go this season if i get a freebie. Or if they lowered prices.
Be mad if people dont agree that that price is far to steep. We're in league 1 ffs.
Dear me
Have you been in the city centre on a Sat night, or any bar that isn't a CIU club?No they don't. Most people on here may spend £30 every ten minutes because most are incredibly rich. But they aren't representative of Sunderland or the north east.
Ah man, you can't just say everyone in Sunderland can afford £60 a month to watch football because some people go to pubs.Have you been in the city centre on a Sat night, or any bar that isn't a CIU club?
Makes the £22 for MK dons away ( given its geographical location) a steal
If they were going to go to every game they would buy a season ticket. They will more than likely go to the odd game and the cheapest ticket is £26 I believe.Ah man, you can't just say everyone in Sunderland can afford £60 a month to watch football because some people go to pubs.
It's like cloud cuckoo land on here most days.
What's even worse is the type who say if you folks can't shell out £30 a time they're not a "proper supporter".
Had a season ticket for years, when we were decent (premier league era) then stopped going apart from the odd game here and there.
Is there a rule that you cannot charge away supporters more than home supporters?

So which division we play in determines your level of support?
Each to their own![]()
Like I say, it's a different planet on here. Your assertion is that £30 is nothing for "most people" whether they spend it on booze, takeaways or football? If they were going to go to every game they would buy a season ticket. They will more than likely go to the odd game and the cheapest ticket is £26 I believe.
Fans have the option to buy a season ticket and even pay for that in installments so I don't see the issue at all.
Loads of people who complain about this stuff wouldn't think twice about spending £30 on booze or take away. I agree that not everyone is the same, but most people are.
