£14.5 million for Gyokeres..

That would be decent. Gets him out of the way and it’s not that much money for Cov - hopefully they spend it terribly
Weren't we the biggest spenders last summer at £5 million.£17+ million looks massive.
Coventry have had their pants down if that's actually what the deal is like
It seems about right imo.

How many players have we seen have a good season or 2 in the champs and been a complete disaster once they step up !!! This lad could defintley be one of them...14 mill i suppose nothing in this day and age

What a deal that is for Coventry (if true of course) let’s them keep Hamer and they’ll fancy their chances of replacing gyokeres with that kind of money

Mags stepped aside again really thought he be a great signing for any mid table prem team

Won’t work at Coventry even if they did. They lump the ball up and rely so so much on Gyork and Hamer. He’s always very isolated. Gyork is the only player in the league who can trouble 4 defenders all at once.
He’s good but he’s not that good!

It’ll be miles off- the 20m euros I can see but 35% sell on would mean they’d need to sell for a vast fee to even get money back- it’s an Everton site exaggerating the deal to soften the blow of missing out.
Seems way way excessive with 12 months left. I don't think Portuguese clubs normally overpay, but if that's true, Cov have dry bummed them for every penny

Cracking deal that. So if he moves again for £30m Coventry would get an extra 10m ish?

Theyve done well like
So you're saying the deal could mean Sporting could sell him for 30m... and make a loss (after fees etc..) with Coventry making another huge profit?

Don't think it would work that way.
