I really hope he is right though as he has kept my Hope's alive for weeks now with the info he has put on the board. The silence from the club & media about the proposed take over speaks far more than drop feeding snippets out to the big tabloids, the media channels , the middle media like the Echo, Chronicle or bottom feeders such as roker rapport or a love supreme about how things are progressing. I suspect that because of the silence and lack of info "no news is good news" this is a good sign that the negotiations are really progressing and will be divulged to all, once completed which should not be too far away. just hold your nerve....

I would think that this is because its being done professionally. Speaks volumes about previous owners imho.

I praised the owners for putting money where mouth was last season after initially being a bit cautious over them.

I then criticised Ross for failing. Surely that’s reasonable isn’t it?

I think so. I think the issue is that others try to post in a positive manner. I agree with your post but I’d rather post and look on the positive side. Nothing worse than negativity setting in. We need a positive atmosphere to thrive.

Everyone is aware of our situation and how terrible the last few years have been and many performances to date; however, if you look, there are plenty of positives ‘looking forward, not backward’.

Ndong was another example. Nobody knew anything of him but reiver lived in France so saw a lot of him (because you’d obviously watch a lot of lorient) and assured us he was the goods. Cue optimism and people now excited over the new record signing.

Turned out reiver had moved back to England the season ndong was in France.

He probably says things for right reasons in terms of trying to make people feel better about things but I wouldn’t take a great deal of notice of him personally.

That’s a load of shite mind. This forum was around before Rivs first arrived and will still be here when he eventually cops a permaban. I’ll freely admit that I don’t know what he’s done this time but he’s got a history of getting hisself banned for saying stuff out of turn. If he’s done it again then he’ll have known what might happen. He’s used to this dance by now. He’s a good poster but he’s got some ‘choice’ opinions about stuff and the mods have guidelines to work to that everyone has available to them. It’s not like Rivs can claim he doesn’t know where the boundary is. He’s stepped over it enough.
