Unpopular gaming opinions you hold

Wasn't it out around the same time as half life, which pissed all over it
Not for lazy students who wanted to sit round the telly smoking weed and playing 4-player death matches. Consoles were the social way to play multiplayer back then, and it also didn’t block the phone line either.

Ironically I was a student who was introduced to half life at uni, where we had a t1 connection and thousands and the LAN.

I don't like any of the GTA games
Final Fantasy 8 is better than 7, but could have been much better (especially in the last 2 discs)
FIFA should just be one game that continuously updates instead of a £50 - £80 new game every year
In-game chat shouldn't be allowed for anyone under 16

DLC should be banned also, just released the f***ing finished game.

Some expansions are justifyable. TW3 I think charged £19.99 at most for their expansions and they were absolutely huge. Doubt they'd have been to release the game on time had they waited to include with the base game.

Expansions on the souls games are a lot of fun too and added plenty of extra play time

The last Civ 5 major expansion completely fixed a boring game and made it fun. The haven't managed that yet in Civ6, although another expansion is just out now. Full price though, which is taking the piss

I bought Civ6 on release day and I have put maybe 6 hours max into it, just cannot get away with it. If I want a time wasting strategy fix Civ5 is my go to game. Thing is I enjoyed Civ5 in its basic form (the 2 expansions added even more to an already good game)
