I remember when he played at the SOL the following year and tortured us then got subbed at 4-0.

A lot gave him a standing ovasion on way off, I didn’t like, the wink was still to fresh.
 
He's an outstanding athlete and an incredibly gifted footballer, but there are aspects of his character I just have no time for. In this case it would appear at first glance he's been judged harshly.

Aye the 5 champions leagues and Ballon D'ors and all the goalscoring records he's broken, that's just karma lulling him into a false sense of security for 12 years before him getting sent off in the opening group game of the champions league.

Lets not forget Rooney actually stamped on somebody and his opponent was happy that England's best player was sent off. What a horrible bloke
