Watched with our lass. If he went to an audition for owt now he’d be laughed out the room. Loved them back in the day but awful singer.

Laughed as he walked off mind, grabbed a can from someone n hoyed it away. Workieticket!

Sounded good first five or six then it went a bit downhill. No surprise given the fact he's been on the road for more than a year singing songs like Rock n Roll Star and Morning Glory. Massive difference in his vocal at the beginning of a tour.

Even if you compare him singing Live Forever at Manchesters One Love you can easily notice the difference.

He'd have been laughed out the room back in the day. Just like most singers from bands. That's not me saying he wasn't a good singer mind, he had a class voice back in the day, but never a vocal that would win stuff like the x factor.

Did I hear him going on about Our Kid again??
What was he saying?

already made that joke man!
I wasn't joking, I want to see his set on iplayer but i cant find it.

EDIT: Found it. Their search engine is shit. You can browse to it in the music section though.

I like his own stuff live but his Oasis versions are sounding awful.

Yep. Songs to suit his voice then v songs to suit his voice now. Mind he can still pull Oasis songs off occasionally, like at the start of a tour after a load of time off, but in the main the high tempo stuff that he insists on opening gigs with is too much for him. Saying that, no one in the crowd seems to listen anyway as they're too busy singing themselves.

I totally agree. The Definitely Maybe songs are ones he was singing when he was 19. 20 odd years of rock n roll and they're bound to be a struggle for him now.

Yep, guitars ramped reet up and belting them out for god knows how long. It's not like he holds back either. Too long in the game now. Noel still doesn't even attempt to sing then them now.
