Reminds me of a school music lesson.

The music teacher who was very, very strange even by music teacher standards, relegated the daft lads, of which I was a founding member, to the back of the class where we sang Paint it Black while the rest of the class mangled Green Sleeves or some such.

It must have sounded dreadful but at the end of the lesson he complimented us for 'joining in with enthusiasm'.

Just had a link pop up on Facebook telling me it's 50 years since The Small Faces entered the charts with Itchycoo Park.

It made me think first bloody hell where did the time go, but then how lucky some of us were to grow up in that musical era.

So fill yer boots lads and lasses...

In 1972 I used to live in Natal Road that is now just on the other side of the North Circular Road to Itchycoo Park (Little Ilford Park) .
It was all so bee-you-tifull.
