Anyone have a clue how to put WiFi on windows xp
You might need to be a bit more specific with what the problem is. The laptop should have WiFi capability so it may be a problem with the driver or something as simple as flicking a switch on the laptop itself to enable WiFi. My old Dell had a switch like that.

Need more details though.

What type of laptop is it?

I'd be surprised if it didn't already have WiFi. Probably needs the driver installing or just needs turning on.

Well then that's what the op wants. So my answer was correct. Glad we got there in the end.

No, no it isn't.

The WiFi will work on a mobile phone, a games console, a PC, a tablet, even a car, and probably many other devices.

So you couldn't be more wrong. You keep telling yourself that you're super funny though and that you helped.

@PurpleSafc07 - do you know if the laptop has a wireless controller in it? If you go to device manager does it list a wifi controller or card in there? Or as @Slippery Jim asked, does it have a wifi switch on the side?

If i remember correctly, you needed to have at least Service Pack 2 installed on Windows XP as it introduced built in WIFI management.
Make sure to download the 32bit or 64bit depending on what processor your have.

Anyone going to mention that the absolute last thing you want to be doing is connecting a Windows XP machine to the internet?
