Shots and explosions outside of Parliament

Being racist is a crime (unless of course you're arguing just thinking racist things rather than ever voicing them, which would be an utterly ridiculous point ) and the person you agreed with was saying you can hurl racist abuse about at home and it's fine.
No I didn't. I've quoted duffman and disagreed with him.
Which part of being a racist is a crime? You're being ridiculous. Voicing racist thoughts isn't necessarily a crime.

Voicing racist thoughts is a crime like. Only thing that prevents you getting done is no one reporting it.

Your point is ridiculous for exactly that reason

Your points ridiculous, as Greedy said, no one knows you're racist until you are. Then when you, you've committed a crime.

No. Racist speech isn't necessarily a crime.
You've asserted that being racist in itself is a crime, but it isn't.
Both your assertions are ridiculous. (insert laughing smiley cos that proves I'm right)

By saying/doing something racist you are being racist. Being racist involves saying/doing something racist. All of which is classed as hate crimes. And unless it goes unreported or unnoticed, you'll be in bother.

Wrong about what?
Life

If anyone hears it being said to the tv and reports it you're fucked. Same applies to your Black mate, if he reports your jest, you're fucked.
Even if he doesn't report it. It's still illegal

racism is subject when it comes to the law, if the person feels that its racist and has caused them distress then it is and illegal . same way that if you walked in to a bank with your finger pointing within your pocket and demanded money, if the bank teller thought it was a gun then its armed robbery

Section 31(1)(a) creates the distinct offence of racially or religiously aggravated fear or provocation of violence. A person is guilty of this offence if he commits an offence under section 4 of the Public Order Act 1986 (see fear or provocation of violence) which is racially or religiously aggravated within the meaning of section 28.

Section 31(1)(b) creates the distinct offence of racially or religiously intentional harassment, alarm or distress. A person is guilty of this offence if he commits an offence under section 4A of the Public Order Act 1986 (see intentional harassment, alarm or distress) which is racially or religiously aggravated within the meaning of section 28.

A person guilty of either of these offences is liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years, or to a fine, or to both, or on summary conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or to a fine not exceeding the statutory maximum, or to both (s.31(4)).

Harassment, alarm or distress

Section 31(1)(c) creates the distinct offence of racially or religiously harassment, alarm or distress. A person is guilty of this offence if he commits an offence under section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986 (see harassment, alarm or distress) which is racially or religiously aggravated within the meaning of section 28.

A person guilty of this offence is liable on summary conviction to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months, or to a fine not exceeding level 4 on the standard scale (s.29(3)).

Point out a scenario where speaking racist is not a crime, obviously this would be overheard by someone otherwise it might never have happened (think about the proverb of if no one hears a tree falling)

Indeed. I merely pointed out you'll not get done unless it's reported.

Point out a scenario where speaking racist is not a crime, obviously this would be overheard by someone otherwise it might never have happened (think about the proverb of if no one hears a tree falling)

That turned out to be his argument, people could just be racist but never let on (just saying racist things in their head)

if racist spouts bile in the woods and nobody hears him.............
If the tree fell in the woods and the racist made a cross from the fallen tree, with the intention to burn it on a lawn, but didn't actually plant the cross or set it alight, but instead hid it in his/her cellar and did little jigs occasionally around it ...

Black women are better than white women
