I'll try to post more tomorrow. It was a great day, all things considered. Absolutely packed church, standing room only.

All SAFC fans have done themselves proud with the collection for him. Unbelievable. Best people in the world.

Just to echo what Wanny said, great send off for the lad. Estimated about 450-500 in the church, and pretty much all of them in the club after. :-D

News of the collection had spread amongst everyone and I had the same conversation a few times, explaining what the SMB was and that it was people who hadn't actually met him, who were donating money. Some amazed faces, I can tell you. You should all feel very proud.

Also, the club have been in contact and Anth's name will be on the roll of honour for the last home game of the year.

Pleased it went well, shame it was necessary. Hope his family manage ok.
