i think the opposite. there'll be that much money being made from fleecing the 100,000s of fans attending, coupled with the revenue in TV broadcasting and Sponsorships for american companies, plus the amount of contracts around hosting the thing to start with.... the coorperate america will be absolutely all over hosting it again. they'd have it three times a year if it was up to them.

The tournament is now so big with 48 countries (16 too many imo) there are few countries capable of hosting it on their own and currently not good when 3 of them are potentially USA, Russia and China. Infantino would happily jump into bed with any of them.
