The Rolling Stones

Their previous album, Hackney Diamonds, was their best new material since the 80s.

Already pre ordered the new one - Foreign Tongues. - due next month.

A great group of musicians who would be better off without that prancing Nancy of a singer. Have a listen to the Expensive Winos to appreciate how they should sound.

Get fucked

hand of fate and one hit are quality.

Never was into them as a kid but a bloke at work gave me a cassette in the early 90's of 'Hot Rocks', listen to them most days now and defo favourite band, hopefully see them live next year, won't be the same as the earlier concerts but they still have it 👍
They don’t. They really really don’t.

Thats not the praise you think it is unfortunately

One of probably my 3 favourite gigs behind Zeppelin and Queen

Saw them on my 30th birthday.....

SJP, June 23rd. 1982. J. Geils Band ( Brilliant !! ) The Chieftains and George Thorogood & the Destroyers were the support bands.

£10 for a ticket!! Great day.

Great recorded songs
Live they always seemed to be all playing a different song while mick jumped around like the mad kid at a 10th birthday party .
Aye. Nowt like I expected live. A weedy sound that doesn’t fill a stadium in the way that younger bands who grew up in the stadium/mega hall era.
Jagger didn’t half work the stage though in the late 80s when I saw em. I heard he had visions of ending their days standing at the mic with a guitar in hand doing some basic stuff while singing like their old blues n r&b heroes but Keef put a stop to that. Played a part in their fall out last century I believe. He was certainly using a guitar during some songs.
