F1 2026

Ferrari's to lose this, isn't it?
They can play silly buggers with the pitstops.
I agree, there’s a reason they haven’t went hell for leather like Kimi. But Ferraris strategy is normally poor so will see if they execute any chance correctly

Doesn’t matter how many cars they have in the fight if they’re that much slower than Antonelli.
Not really.
When Antonelli pits, Leclerc can just drop the pace by 3s per lap and create a full gap for Lewis to pit and come back out in the lead.

Kimi is going to be 8/10 seconds ahead by the pitstops at this rate
10s disappears in 3 laps if someone wants to back the pack up. You don't remember last season?

Yeah, he can do an Alonso special.

And Hamilton can play this waiting game, as you would imagine his tyres will last a lot longer the way Kimi is going. I respect the way Kimi sends it every single race though, what a driver he already is, let alone the level he could be

Hilarious, I use Party Poker for my bets (as I've had money on there for absolutely years), I've never seen their live F1 betting with so few options. Literally no in-play betting on the winner !!

If he does that, Antonelli will surely pit the following lap and stay out ahead. Ferrari hope is that Kimi pits first, as mentioned above, and Leclerc holds him up
Fair point.

So that means Kimi pitting on the last lap then

Nothing stopping Antonelli just going to the end pretty much and pitting with just a few laps to go.

He has this in the bag barring an unexpected disaster from somewhere.

I really don't understand why they got rid of those "off the cliff" tyres - they were safe, but had a totally different compound underneath that was like 10s per lap slower.

Hadjar and in general, shouldn't be able to maintain a place when you go off the track. That's a lasting advantage.

I've never understood why you always have to give the place when you're forced off the track and overtake - but hardly ever when you keep your place by going off.

.
Lewis pits, so Kimi pits now and will sit behind Charles for the whole race now?
