If you wear Stone Island gear

Clone Island never really been for me. Cant be worth the price for a little badge on the arm. Please educate me, if it’s worth swapping Ralph Lauren for. Which I love and generally only get rid of because I’ve changed shape, lasts forever.

Never understand why anyone would spend hundreds of pounds on gear and then have a fight in it ?
Probably why most of them just jump up and down shouting “ come on “ before doing fuck all . They are scared of damaging their clobber .

Noticed lads wearing tops with 'represent owners club' on them a while back honestly thinking it was something to do with cars but it's just another s#ite expensive clothing brand for the sheep to be seen in.
The latest one seems to be casablanca, ridiculous money to look like you're touting for a city centre Greek restaurant.

Day to day you need to look like you’re en route to Everest base camp - montane, mountain equipment, rab etc. Real mountain gear, not this dreadful Montirex knock off stuff from JD.

Anything slightly smarter and it’s jeans and a quarter zip.

That represent clobber just reeks of desperation and is basically only worn because of the huge label on the back because it's cheaply made and overpriced.

Nonsense.
The clothes are well made, from quality materials. They wear well, and wash well.
Not all of it is garish. I have SI sweatshirts, and Polo’s that are 20 years old and still smart.
Get what you pay for.
I’d best get in the bunker after that post
Stand by for incoming for the resident Goks to pile on

Sign of a 3” cock
Haven’t we all?

Like all labels it gets ruined when it becomes popular.

I would never wear any stone island stuff mind
First sentence I agree totally. Burberry being a classic example.
Why, may I ask, would you not wear anything that is SI?

Serious question, what’s the suitable “label” for mid 50’s blokes these days ?
Private White.
Make equally well made gear. Made in Manchester actually. Like SI it is quality at a price but, in my opinion, worth it.

Got a few jackets in the wardrobe and a T-shirt but rarely wear them now.

See a lot of Casablanca stuff and another called Yelir, which tbf aren’t that unreasonably expensive.

But as a rule of thumb I tend not to wear things that sell in Mike Ashley’s tat emporiums.

Is it a sign you are hard and looking for a ruck?
Firstly I’ve never worn any Stone Island gear.

1. Because I hate that stupid patch on the arm as I think it looks common.

2. I make judgements about people who wear it and if I do that I suspect others will too and I do not want to be associated with the type of individuals who wear this line of clothing.

I like the story ,the heritage etc . I knew nothing of them . The first I saw probably 15 to 20 years ago was match lads wearing sweatshirts and coats and the awful arm patch . I didn't think snide because I didn't think they looked expensive just a bit meh like zavetti and stuff now. So when I realised it was top money premium stuff being copied I just thought that's a lot of money to look cheap.
Bit like watches to me . I like the history and stories but think a flash watch is purely to express wealth and doesn't look good on .
