Tbf to Hull the city i really like it, a mate of mine is from there and we do Hull or Beverly quite often and both are great for a night out (we like real ale and it’s well catered for in both)Always thought She Drives me Crazy by Fine Young Cannibals as well. Obviously Gift is a Brummie but the band formed in Hull. And the lyrics fit pretty well with being a City fan.

Edit, Roland grew up in Hull and attended Hymers college from 11. Enough of a connection for it to work anyway.
We know it winds the opposition fans up and it's the last thing they want to hear. It only comes out when we're guaranteed to win as well. The others just look daft when they're doing it back at 1-0 after 10 minutes or whatever.

I remember us singing this for years since starting going regularly late 80s and going to aways regularly since late 90s, I never heard Hull, Preston or others sing it until around 10 years ago , probably after we belted it out playing them or they seen videos of us on social media , they might have sang it on odd occasion like we sang you never walk alone in 73 etc but it’s a Liverpool song

So was I and we were dreadful unfortunately.
We sang it every week after though. Its ours now regardless. Same as you never walk alone with celtic but it's liverpools anthem. The deal with Elvis estate will make us massive. I think they are selling safc new Elvis strips there. After that hull might as well do one

Aye was our own for years, then I think the England fans got hold of it and now every club seems to sing it. All sing it out of tune as well.
