Ahem… Rashford anyone?

His attitude seems to have improved since going to Barca though

Be interesting if he actually wants to comeback and play in the UK? It seemed like he was surrounding himself with some questionable characters, and caring less about footy in Manchester.

The move to Spain looked like it got him back on track, and hungry to be playing again.

The move to Villa seem to have settled him down too like the Rashford of old

Aye, he seemed to get his head down there for that short spell too.

Seems he's got a choice to make about creaming it in for the remainder of his Man U contract or take a big pay cut and go enjoy playing some footy.

Saying that, I'm not sure how Carrick feels about him, or if he still has a route back into the first team?

You can understand why he's available for 20m when you see his wages.

Good player, but you could get 2 good players, maybe even 3 when you add up what he'd cost over the course of his contract.

Let's suppose it was the full 400k a week. That's 20 mil a year. So over 3 years it would be 60mil on wages plus 20 mil on the transfer. Thats 80 mil all in.

You would struggle to get 3 good players for 80 mil including transfer fees and wages for 3 years.

Personally I think he will go for a lot less than that and he is a very good player still.

He would improve most clubs but he would have to drop to a more "reasonable" wage to get a move.

People moaning about wages. It’s a hypothetical question. Would you have him? Fuck yes. Better than anything we currently have.
Seriously, we should go for this.

He's fringe England level, and we all know how players like that have stood out for us over the years: Phillips, Defoe, Bent - all massive players for us.
And what's that saying that's going round - buy players when they're having a bad time and get them back to their best. Rashford did canny at Barca ffs, he'd be a fooking legend here. And no fee, just £20m per year all in, and possible resale too if he does great for us.

No question his ability is great. But….

Our squad has such a good balance of characters I’d be concerned at his fit personality wise.

We seem to have a group that consists of quiet grafters with iron resolve sprinkled with a few outright nutters. It’s a great blend and I’m not sure Rashford fits either category.

Not sure where all the questions about mentality are coming from. He was superb with us and no questions about his effort.

Man United has been a shitshow for years and the likes of McTominay, Lindelof and Rashford himself have done well away from that circus.

This. I’ve never seen anyone in the game claim he’s a bad apple

He wasn’t the only one to fall out of favour with Amorim…

Its only a few years ago he was out campaigning for kids to get a meal wasn't he?
Everyone thought he was great back then. Did something change?
