University student stabbed

Care so much about their country they’re smashing it up
It wasnt smashed up
Last night was a generally peaceful Protest with 2 arrests , no damage , and about 10 people who threw a wheelie bin or pushed at the police for a minute

It's media sensationalising shit.
Everyone seemed to have phones and cameras and there is hardly any 'riots'

The officer who's name has been thrown across X has been in the job a while and has a few awards
Well in that case he should have known better and performed better .

He accepted on face value the lies told by the family as he arrived on scene and was a smarmy dick about it

I imagine a lot of current police officers will want to learn from this but there'll also be a lot who are scared of their own shadows now

The police were attacked and hurt. Do you know if any people's properties were damaged? They used bricks to throw at the police.

How do you know if the officers name being thrown across X is correct, hasn’t a police officer received death threats already even though he wasn’t involved. In my very limited experience of X formally known as Twitter a lot of stuff on that platform is utter shit.

Or maybe just an inexperienced, poor quality police officer with a crap attitude making an extremely bad judgement upon arriving at a crime scene ?

You just see what you want to see through the lens you've already held up
People are going on as if they've seen a lad that is dying and deliberately chose to ignore it and arrest him because the perpetrator wasn't white. Which is complete bollocks. They didn't know/believe he'd been stabbed. You can't see any blood, the victim is quite calm and the perpetrator and family stood there rather than fleeing, having made the call in the first place, all added to the confusion.

The police at the scene should be pulled across the coals and I'm sure they will be as they were appalling. But no chance was it due to skin colour assessment.

I'm no huge fan of the police and have witnessed some officers behaving shockingly.

Ultimately, and sadly, people are using this tragedy for their own gain. Even ignoring the pleas from the victims parents.

My point is the QLI doesn't tell the full story.

If you compare similar sized cities then the Polish offering is offers a higher quality of life in my opinion.

Fairy nuff. It's your opinion not backed up by the facts. There's so many happy to slag off our country these days. Most of them unable to offer any solutions to the perceived problems or get off their arses and do something about it.

Instead you have a bunch of ignorant cents smashing up people's neighbourhoods.

The police on the scene chose the stood up 'I've been racially attacked' as the priority for dealing with over the lying on the floor 'I've been stabbed and I can't breathe'.

If you disagreed with a neighbour would you have a quiet word with him or throw wheelie bins at his front door?

Don't agree with this at all.
You have a very black look on the UK.

Wasn't / isn't the coat of living crisis due to huge inflation from the covid years, and world wide? . More or less back to the 2% inflation rates now.

compare ourselves to our European mates and ask yourself if we've got it so good.

They did. For reasons I and others have said. The fella standing there is the stabber (I doubt the police often find a stabber stood there calmly at the scene) and his family who had made the call and allegation in the first place. So that's the starting point. The victim is calm, even when talking, there's no sign of blood etc.

I've also said the police were poor in how they reacted and assessed. But not in the way some are deliberately trying to spin it.

He who travels far will often see things Far removed from what he believed was Truth.

Not Starmer or his lefty mob is it?
Because they're f***ing hypocrites and Political Opportunists, Farage gets stick for it and quite rightly, but if you look at people like Mahmood, there is post after post regarding George Floyd doing exactly what you say.

And Riots are for the Braindead
Exactly this. They’re all scum.

Yep. There may have been a bias in the coppers mind due to the race of the two parties that played a part in this. But you cannot play down the bias the copper had because the murderers family were the ones who called 999. They reported it as a crime against them. They were stood there playing the victim.

Instead of the copper going in to the situation 100% neutrally and assessing. He has gone in with bias but that does not mean it was 100% racially biased. There are other factors. It's insane to ignore them.

It was a difficult situation and that copper has got it wrong.

Key point is the starting point. The perpetrator reported it/made the call and they remain at the scene.

As I said on another thread. Flip it so the perpetrator is white, they've reported an attack and remain at the scene. The non white is on the floor, as the accused from the off, calm and saying they've been stabbed (but without any sign of a stabbing). Those looking to spin it will have you believe this time they'd have 'chosen' to side with the lad on the floor because of his skin colour.
