World Cup. Just "the lads" players .

Loch Ness Drogba......If the Glass Bugger isn't injured!!!!
How could I forget about him!
Have to say when it gets to the knockout stages that’s when I start to get interested
Seeing a top nation in full flight eg France or Spain is what footy is all about
Will Messi still have something in the tank
Dare Portugal drop a largely immobile and ineffective show pony Ronaldo
Watching the likes of Mbappe, Yamal, Vinicius Jnr all in their prime somewhat eclipses watching Isidor play for Haiti
I was at the RoI v Portugal game in Dublin. Ireland were very good but their job was much easier because everything had to go through Ronaldo.

Nobody is 100% English .. have you taken a DNA test?

I really don’t have any sort of connection since Southgate’s departure.

Plus I can’t trust any grown man who wears a cap so much.
I was born in England to English parents, that’s 100% to me. I’m not supporting the manager I’m supporting the country. Can’t beat a nice hot summer and England doing well in a World Cup or euros.

Assuming he’s English then it’s absolutely mental haha
I'm not a million miles away to be fair, well maybe I am as I actually want England to win, but I was surprised how little I cared when we've been knocked out of tournaments recently, was more bothered when Sunderland lost in the Prem than when England lost a final.

Don't think I've watched a single game under Tuchel.

Be highly amusing seeing Brobbey ripping Burn, Livramento and whoever else to shreds.

Hope all of our players have a great World Cup and come home fit and well.

Xhaka starting for Switzerland, 2pm KO. Official stream (might need a very quick holiday to the Alps).

That was a suicidal back pass by Xhaka just before the drinks break. Nice to see him smiling as he apologises to the keeper.

Sublime pass to set up the second goal! Much more like Xhaka

selfishly I'd rather they all spent 5 weeks on a beach. not on all inclusive mind. keeping in shape but recovering from an amazing season ready to go again.

but with an England team difficult to connect to keeping an eye on the lads is probably as much interest as I'll have in this WC.

Xhaka strolled through that half. Can't see Jordan bringing much to the competition. Diarra up against the co-host's Team America World Police later on
