Trippier farewell

Think he’s overrated personally.

He was good for the first few years but he’s been shite lately. This season he’s looked awful most of the time I’ve seen him on the pitch.

This season more than any other I have noticed a player leaving at the end of the season being treat like some kind of occasion. Weird.
This. Why does everyone have to announce they’re leaving before the season finishes these days? Full of ego, these people.
Off to advertise video door bells??
Presenting the new series of Four in a Bed, I hear

You would think he had been there 10 years the way Sky were going on. Same with Casemero at Man U. Coleman at Everton , now that is a club legend for all the years he's served.
The Casemiro circus has been one of the most bizarre things i've seen for a while.

He's been there 4 years, played about 150 games and won a Europa league, FA Cup and League cup. For a man utd player that a pretty mediocre return. Their fan base spent the first few years criticising him for offering very little and earning mega money. But because he's scored a few headers recently they all love him and are begging him to stay.

The sky commentator in their last game said Casemiro would probably view his Man Utd career as his most positive chapter in his career. This is the same lad who played 330 times for Real Madrid, winning 18 trophies (including 6 champions leagues)
