See what he’s like in pre season imo. He’s definitely got some talent. Excellent goal v Leeds.

Just needs to up his work rate.
 
He has the talent, it's very clear that he does because of spell at Monaco, but I think the issue is that after he was omitted from the AFCON squad, his confidence absolutely shot to shit, especially with not starting every game.

He is thankfully in the world cup squad, so we should assess afterwards.
 
His laziness was evident preseason against Hearts. Personally I’d have loaned him out or sold him on last summer. Get rid asap.

He's very talented, but I suspect just isn't strong enough defensively for what RLB wants from his wide players, and doesn't have enough of an end product going the other way to overlook it.

In hindsight, it's peculiar we signed him in the first place, especially considering he wasn't cheap, as the above wasn't exactly a secret and the issues he has had here were also pointed out by Brighton fans as frustrations.
