Geertruida

I am shocked he would stay, unless RLB has committed to getting him involved more. He's missed the WC squad because he was under-utilised imo, and that would rankle with most players.

Great work if we can keep him and he's happy to come though, fantastic player who I would have in the team most weeks. Always feel comfortable with him, Xhaka, or Le Fee on the ball, even in the tightest spots.

Really surprising if true (obviously in a good way!). Hasn't been played anywhere near enough this season for my money.

Obviously we're heading into Europe which the players will love, the spirit is good in the dressing room and it's PL money - but honestly thought he'd still fancy somewhere else.

Perhaps it's a signal that Slot is out the door at Liverpool, as much as anything!
Pretty sure Liverpools interest was solely in the fact they had most fullback out injured, needed a potential loan to cover the remainder of the season and he was familiar with Slot. Dont think signing him permanently was ever really on the agenda which is why they just wanted to take over the loan

Question:

If we sign him before the June transfer window opens, does that count as a signing this season and therefore not part of the 70% turnover thing?
I assume the window is shut until the clock starts on that again.

But then again, thinking out loud, it’s probably included on the initial loan deal.

I wouldn’t stay if I was him but he’s also very likely to find himself in the same position next time trying to solidify himself into a role for a different team. Tough choice

No idea mate. Silly isn’t it.
Its clear he’s brilliant at right back with mukiele right side centre back they can rotate and push forward and cover eachother as well as Hume dropping in works a treat mukiele still gets forward loads even at centre back it pushed the whole team up the pitch

His transfer value annual amortization and his wages will count so it doesn’t really matter if it happens now or after the next accounting period.

PSR looks over your last 3 seasons so it’s somewhat academic. But I believe we wouldn’t have his full registration until the summer as the window is closed atm. His registration reverts to leipzig or whoever we loaned him from, and then buy him

In the laziest of lazy story’s , the bloke next to me rolled out the old “he’s been shagging such and such’s daughter so they’ve not played him” rumour, “such and such” because he couldn’t actually come up with anyone’s name he just said “a higher ups daughter”

Also told me Regis is “1000% leaving” and the club is 100% up for sale

Tried to make it credible by telling me that his mate, who can get away tickets and is now a reform councillor, told him.

What’s the matter with people ffs
In his case his mate is a Reformer councillor should be a massive red flag.
