Ghisolfi talk.

I would sell Myenda if anyone offered decent money. Maybe he would get regular game time in championship but still wasn't prolific for us at that level.
Don't want to end up like Alan Browne who was a regular in the championship on loan this season but has not been kept on.

Mayenda, Adingra, Seelt, Mundle, Browne, Pattinson, and maybe even Wilson, would bring in quite a bit on top of what the initial transfer budget for next season would be.

I've full faith in Ghisolfi and the recruitment team to use the war chest well to kick us on.
I know not many people will like this but I would not be surprised if they replaced RLB before the new season starts, the project is ruthless and anyone could depart to make it happen.

One thing I’m really comfortable with is that any lack of success this coming season will not be through our ownership and football leadership structure failing to plan and prepare for next season.

Maybe things won’t go our way, key targets turn us down etc or we have some shocking injury issues. But the club will have actually tried to execute a proper plan.
Spot on. It's a VERY nice feeling isn't it, being pretty darn sure that the brass actually have a plan, and a decent one at that?

I think for a club our level Harry Wilson would absolutely be box office. I think he's far more likely to end up a Champions League side myself (Villa?)
Tbf I think Villa are the only side that could offer him more than us at this point. Getting Europa has seriously increased our chances with any potential new player!

I think we now have to accept that as a club in our position, we need to be getting in players who are far far better than Mayenda
True - and it is going to be extremely difficult to give academy lads the first team minutes to develop.

Harrison Jones is a good example. He would have had minutes this season if we were still in the Championship but had next to no chance of game time in the Premier League.

We will be buying young players who have already cut their teeth in men’s football.

Write Onien off at your peril. He’s stepped up to the plate every time we’ve stepped up a level. If he can cut it in the premier league, he can cut it in Europe.
Tbf some of the European clubs in the competition you could argue talent wise are top championship bottom Premier league level which onien didn't too bad in
That's due to more the strength of the PL tho with the money it brings in

If we are going to buy a big name striker to start, I'd be selling Isidor rather than Mayenda.

Suspect we'll sign a player who can either play on the wing or up front, and rotate between.
