How the Europa League works

No, It just means its a fairer way of achieving some sort of balance with every team playing similar standard teams rather than all the teams in a normal 'league'.

If we want away tickets we want the bigger sides away, If we want progression, we want the worst teams in each pot.

Maybe thats because they always qualify? But they are from some lesser ranked leagues and we should be able to compete with all of them.
Read a good article, theres a gulf between english finances n other leagues now. We can take clubs starts n afford them as squad players.

These wont be the juve n milan we saw in the 90s etc.

Quietly optimistic.

The PL sides will always be favourites for these competitions now but we don't have the same question mark as the other two, with those changing their managers.

Absolutely mental that we can talk about winning it, League One to Europa League this quickly and with a great chance of winning it is unbelievable.

Will Palace winning the Conference have anything to do with us having to qualify for the Europa League as has been suggested on social media?

The format allows for a defeat here n there to a top seeded team in the league phase.

Then it's down to the luck of the draw in the knockouts, and wherever we've gotta go, they've gotta come here.

I'm not sure any German team outside of Bayern Munich and maybe Borussia Dortmund would phase me, and they're in a different competition.

The Italian clubs have more than been round the block, but they've struggled in recent years. And we're the new boys. Juve and Milan have suffered defeats to the likes of Stuttgart, Feyenoord, Dinamo Zagreb and PSV in the last couple of seasons. Some of them at home. Obviously those teams have a bit of European know-how about them too, but if you look at our players individually, then so do we.

It's gonna be an adventure, and we already play some of the best teams on the continent week in week out.

Dont know like imo it certainly helped us get the double.
It evened things out a bit though when we won at Sid James' without six first team players.

We'll have even more European experience in the squad by the start of the season - our recruitment team will already be working on it.

#PlanPhase3 :D

Do the Israeli teams play in Isreal for this competition? There can't be too many of us who fancy going there right now like.

no i think they play their home european games in Romania.

i've got family in isreal, my cousin is a ST holder and maccabi tel aviv

i hope we don't draw them at home just because politics will end up being dragged into it

playing them away in a giant , neutral, empty stadium would probably be a crap experience for fans but would give us a good chance of a win
