He's a better player but I wonder whether it's a case of him being on the peripheries of the PSG team meant he wasn't really in contention. Now it's perhaps too late to integrate him into a squad

If he'd been playing in the PL like he has been but for the last 3 seasons I think he'd be there

I remember this point when Alese was playing at the start of the promotion season.

He allowed us to be much more aggressive with our press because his pace protected us against the quick ball in behind.

Mukiele does that as well. Best will in the world, Ballard and Alderete as a pair don't have stand out pace

Yes he's been left out as broken here:

Worth noting Timber is a possible injury doubt so he might yet get the nod down the line

He might not be that fussed about not going. Chances are he wouldn’t actually play anyway and I’ve heard him say that he thinks Trump is a wally.
