that would be ridiculous. Can't see it happening though.
But i didn't think we'd be playing in europe either

City will at least make their money back, they've been very good at selling players the last couple of years.

The problem with signing £50M players is the wages. They will be automatically be on £100K+ a week when most of our players will be on about £50K. I personally think this type of deal is a complete non starter.

The mags will have about 10 players on £100K+ including duffers like Missa, the German, Elanga and Ramsey 😂

And they think they are going to spend big this summer with £100M less in the kitty and those milestones around their necks 🤣

He’d be on twice the wage Xhaka is on and he wouldn’t take a drop in wage and we couldn’t afford it or possibly upsetting Xhaka
I assumed that too, but apparently he’s on 75k a week. He’ll want more on his next contract, so probably in the 100-110k Mukiele-Xhaka range. I could see us bringing in 2-3 players in that bracket this summer to kick us on.

It’s a tough one mind. Free transfers like Stones etc will be on even more.

And if we’re wanting to take a further step up, you’re paying big fees and/or big wages. It’s hard to consistently find value in the middle of the market
