Can we win the Europa League?

Weve beat chelsea home and away
Drew with arsenal at home
Gave villa a good game at their place



All european winners or finalists this season
 

First objective is to get our first win as quickly as possible.

Second is with the new structure of European comps, you have to be dog shite to not make the play off round. If we can at least make the play off then anything is a bonus.

Squad needs beefing up with a quantity of quality now. Can see us bringing in 8 or 9 (obv. some will go)
 
Home form will be absolutely crucial. We need the SOL to be absolutely rocking x4 and then build from there.
 
English teams have dominated recently. I know we’ve just come up but with the money we get from coming 7th we can easily upgrade the depth and quality of the squad. Wouldn’t be surprised if either us or Bournemouth get to the semis at a minimum or even both.
 
I think it will be harder than the time just gone, Juventus, Milan, Leverkusen, and then Marseille are all very strong, whereas you had Forest and Braga in the semi-final this year, and I’ve not considered good teams like Salzburg and Benfica

Had we got into the conference league I’d have given us a great chance of lifting the trophy next year. However the Europa league is clearly a big step above and now I’m just immensely excited to come up against some top European teams with great pedigree.
I think we can beat anyone in the competition on a given day but of course over a season the games quickly add up and quality isn’t always the main decider in the outcome of games.
Maybe a bit of luck in the draw to get us out of the league will do nicely, getting a top, top team at home would be great too.
A great summer window and we could go very strong imo.

By virtue of coming from the Prem we're by default gonna be one of the favourites, and we'll be one of the richest clubs in the whole competition, so should do alright.

We absolutely could win it, but not gonna expect anything beyond enjoying it right now.

But a decent draw, get up for big games like we have this season, a sprinkling of extra quality, and a little luck, and who knows. I'd fear Bournemouth as much as any other team in there right now.
 
Absolutely not. It'll be harder than we expect it to be, whilst we try and manage the league and the cup at the same time, whilst being expected to put in good showings in League and FA Cups.

The Europa League season just gone was relatively weak, IMO. There are bigger dogs in it this year, for example Italy sent Roma and Bologna last year, they're sending AC Milan and Juventus this year. Marseille have qualified, as have Bayer Leverkusen.

My hope is that we at least finish in the top 24 of the league phase of the Europa League and so qualify for the knock-out round play-off. I'd be over the moon with being a seeded team in the knock-out round play-off and it would be beyond my wildest dreams to qualify automatically for the knockouts. I cannot ever imagine we'd make it as far as the quarters.

We’ve seen what the SOL can be like against Coventry, the mags & then Chelsea just yesterday. Can you imagine the SOL for a knock-out European tie?

It's a breathtaking place to be on days like Sunday.
