Is this the best season ever.

I think so, I preferred the Reidy years, but that'll be down to me going home and away at the time and young.

This is the better season given the outcome.

Im not sure it is tbh, athletic, sure.
With regard to this, maybe have a look at, say, the Bradford City squad that survived or any of about twenty other examples. The gulf in quality and squad depths of PL clubs now compared to then is huge. Have a look at any squad that was in the bottom half of the PL in those days and it's obvious the standard of players is significantly higher.

For those of us with bad haircuts and horrible clothes 1972/73 was pretty special
I am sure the eras when gurney, carter, Shackleton were playing were special too

The season Keane got us promoted is still my favourite I think but in terms of ‘best’, I definitely think this edges the 7th under Reidy purely because of the prize at the end.

Our Reidy promotion was my personal favourite (after the playoff loss) but yeah the end result is what sets this apart. I enjoyed the football we watched for the Reidy 7th with Quinn and Philips banging them in but it's almost a different game we're playing now.

I don’t know if anything will beat that promotion. The results home and away were above this season. Then the first Reidy 7th.

This season is amazing and is up there. The style of football is superior if not as consistent and end result

I am happy for these days to be pushed down the pecking order over the next few seasons 😃

My first game was a European Cup Winners match against Sporting Lisbon. I loved the Reid promotion era with Quinn and SKP. However. This era is about looking forward rather than to the past. That is what’s so brilliant about this new era.

Best season of my lifetime no doubt. The fact it is so relatively close to to the worst season(s) - relegation to L1 and failing to get out of it, makes the achievement all the more surreal.

Five years since Lincoln beat us in the L1 play offs and now 7th place and Europa League.

KLD and everyone who has contributed to the management of the club deserve so much credit. And as Granit says, ‘this is just the beginning and we want more’ 😎

Born 1991 and this has absolutely been my favourite season. In fact the last 18 months have been phenomenal.

I’ve not cared about the players that have played for us for a very long time, as we have had our fair share of tossers who are here just for a wage. However, since KLD has come in and revolutionised the club I have fallen in love with it all over again.

The players have a bond, the manager is class, 2 Wembley promotions, last minute winners, Ballard, Watson, Brobbey, beat the Mags twice, finished above them comfortably, European football

F*ck me, we just needed to win a trophy to top this.

43 years old — first game as an eigh-year-old in 1990. Those years under Reidy will take some matching. Some of the memories Quinny, Phillips and the other lads who played for us back then gave me are burned into my memory. But this last twelve months, from the playoffs last year to yesterday has been absolutely sensational. Over the last few years I thought I was getting a bit old and some of my passion for football was waning a tad, but this set of players has lit a fire under it and reinvigorated my love. Cannot wait to experience my first season in European football as a supporter. We’ve played some magnificent football this season and I’ve never seen a team work as hard, or defend for their lives the way these lads do under the leadership of Regis and Granit. What a season it’s been.

51 so not around for the cup and our last Euro campaign. I loved the Reidy years with SKP and Quinny, but also remember feeling frustration that we didn’t kick on. The first Keano year added to that probably the most enjoyable for me same as others, that’s how starved of success we have been since I was born.

This last 12 months (inc the play offs), the highs and the prize at the end, by far the best in my lifetime following the lads. Buzzing this morning.

its is a generational memory, I was bown in 1970 so have no real recollection of the cup win

so this is as good as its been for the majority of our fans I would say

As I said, I dont think so, certainly not obvious. I think Man U or Arsenal of then trounces the league as is. Individuals were also of a higher standard. Henry or Ronaldo become the leagues best players easily.
